Ho'opono Pono Prayer

Ho'opono Pono Prayer

What is : Ho’opono pono?

A Hawaiian Traditional Teaching of forgiveness.

Humanity struggles with the concept of forgiveness– both for ourselves and for others. A deeply healing age-old practice that comes from Hawai’i.

(pronounced HO-oh-Po-no-Po-no), and it works.

This practice of forgiveness functions is a concept of communication for reconciliation and a spoken tool for restoring self-love and balance.

In practice, it's an affirmation for self-love.

It’s super simple.

The word ho’oponopono roughly translates to “cause life to balance right” or to “to make life right.” It’s a very harmonic concept.

(In native Hawaiian language, “pono” means balance, in the sense of “life.” When life is in balance, nothing is off.)

As a forgiveness practice, it is also deeply resonant, as it tends to penetrate our inner monolog over time.

Take 5 mins whether you're standing in line at the grocery store, sitting in a car waiting for someone, first thing when you wake up in the morning.

Begin pronouncing the words from your heart, “ Ho’opono pono” (pronounced HO-oh-Po-no-Po-no) over and over and over again for at least 3 mins, the longer the better.
